Resumo: | Collaborative systems or groupware are computer systems designed to promote interaction among users, for work, education or entertainment, without necessarily being involved in the same place at the same time. In such systems, users need to interact not only with the software but also use it to interact with each other. The evaluation of groupware interface is especially difficult for a number of reasons, including the effect of behavior and personality of group members, in addition to the dynamic social, economic and political aspects. For not considering all imensions of interaction that exist in group applications, the methods for evaluating single-user systems are not enough to evaluate Collaborative systems. Some works in literature have made proposals on how to proceed in the application of evaluation methods in the context of Collaborative systems, but little was reported on the use of these methods and still no consolidated methods for the assessment of Collaborative systems. In this work, we developed a proposal to extend a method based on theory - The Communicability Evaluation Method (MAC) and the Semiotic Engineering -, which allows the evaluation of Collaborative Systems, in controlled environments and with the participation of users. The results contribute to research related to the assessment of Collaborative systems in Human-Computer Interaction and the area of Computer Supported Co-operative Work as a whole. |
