The research seeks to delve into the most relevant issues that make up a poetic setting for my artwork. Through various plastic operations, I investigate the landscape that surrounds me, some of its elements and specific situations. It is the region of the Quadrilátero Ferrífero mineiro: sumptuous natural environment, that has been transformed by the mineral extractive industry. The set of works is fragmented into four groups. Inside identifies with the internal content of the landscape, considering cultural, symbolic and philosophical aspects related to the underground, especially to the cave. Outside identifies with the external dimension of the environment, taking into account those same perspectives, but linked to the mountain. Inside and Outside are works and situations concerning the minefield, where I perceive part of the landscape content exposed. Finally, An Unstable System brings recent artistic actions, through which I find new inquiries to understand and problematize the artificial organization of nature, imposed by man.
