Resumo: | The solidity of scientific knowledge in Geomorphology consists, essentially, from the base provided by observation, resulting in laws and theories of greater scope, as the facts become more refined due to improved capacity of observation and experimentation. However, the very nature of observation is active and selective as there are "innate expectations" that unfold in a selection criteria. Changes in the perspective of looking over the landscape, emerging of new concepts, ideas, techniques and assumptions, culminates often in different perceptions, sometimes opposite, about the same reality, the same object. The facts that promote a conceptual formulation and articulation are logical assumptions that play the role to represent the existence of a real entity in our consciousness. Thus, the recognition of data is not only based in your occurrence, but, fundamentally, from conscience to realize what really matters, that is, conditions are structured to recognize the logic of phenomena from the phenomena of logic. The main theories and models of the evolution of relief proposals over the last century represent, clearly, the epistemological ruptures and differences assumptions by which the geomorphological thought came through and experienced. The main objective of this work is to look how from different conceptions and geomorphological interpretations of relief, distinct possibilities of think and to do geomorphology can rise. To do so, the guidelines are established enabling the organization of geomorphological knowledge, and as from different and possible interactions between foundational concepts of geomorphological science, these ends in various perceptions of an analyzed object, which produces several interpretations. |
