The present paper is a Case Study which aims at identifying and describing the use of Management Information Systems SIG from the Andrade Gutierrez Concessões. The data was collected through interviews in which a director, six project managers and two project assistants took part. The results point to the underutilization and non-utilization of the information systems. The underutilization may be due to inefficient planning as well as to the non-involvement of the users in the process. There is no official responsible for feeding the system, which causes the information to be outdated. However, the company employees are skillful in the use of technologies, leading to success in the search for recent information that they wish to have.
