Resumo: Graphic representations follow humanity since the beginning of its journey through Earth. During the course of ages, these representations diversified, changing and taking different forms, transformed into sophisticated paintings, tapestries, cartographic charts, engravings, among other graphic representations produced by humankind over the centuries. Evolved. In this context, we consider comics and graffiti as most popular younger sisters of these graphical representations. One of its remarkable features is the ability to use its narrative potential to portray a wide variety of themes, whether real or not. Comics have the ability to carry us through its reading to the red sands of Mars or to a lost water path at the bottom of a hinterland. Comics can make us laugh, cry and think all at the same time... as it doesnt really respect the boundaries of logics and reason. Even when dealing with reality comics can find a way to flirt with the impossible. Creates other names and sensations for reality. Play the unexpected; born upside down just to tell the story otherwise - reinvented in the vacant lot of thought. This is the plot-language ground where this dissertation has deeply planted its bent roots. Deep and bent like Cerrados trees which this work aims to give sight to show its beauties and Calvary. Discuss the invisible ills to which the biome and people who traditionally occupy the Cerrado are exposed to. Thus, using the language of comics, it aims to discuss and highlight the socio-environmental issues of the biome in the teaching of Geography - using a transdisciplinary approach.
