The present study is the result of research developed in the Postgraduate Program of the Professional Master in Arts - UFMG, in the "Artistic Creation Processes" modality. This experience report was carried out in Art-Theater classes with students from the 1st grade of Integrated Technical High School in a School of the Federal Education Network, in the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro. It presents investigations on possibilities for the teaching of art, specifically theater in school, through case study of the process of staging and setting up a show. The objective of the research is to study the processes performed in the students' body preparation and the importance of body work in the theater classes, through the analysis of the staging and assembly of the show "MACBETHemer".
