Resumo: This dissertation presents the results of a research that aimed at mapping the academic production (dissertations and theses) about the following subjects: youth and adult education (YAE) and information and communication technologies (ICTs). It was analyzed the dissertations and theses which were defended between 2010 and 2014 in four postgraduate courses of institutions located in Belo Horizonte: Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais (CEFET MG), Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC MG), Universidade Estadual de Minas Gerais (UEMG) and Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). It was done in order to understanding the structure of the relationships among the professors that participated of the committee of assessment. This main objective was accomplished by the development of a qualitative and quantitative research based on the available information presented on the analyzed theses and dissertations. It was observed a reduction in the number of defenses involving YAE, meanwhile the number of defenses involving ICTs stayed relatively constant between 2010 and 2014. On the other hand, the number of defenses involving ICTs in YAE was so low and they were observed only in the initial years. Three studied categories were enhanced in YAE: Literacy process, Teacher formation and Subject. In ICTs, two categories were more frequent: Educational technology and Distance education. Moreover, two categories were enhanced in ICTs in YAE: Social and digital inclusion and Work. The social networks analyzing allowed the verification of many features of studied subjects. Firstly, it was observed the low density of networks of YAE and ICTs. This analysis also indicated a positive relation between the sociometric indexes of professors. Moreover, it was verified that the professors who had oriented a higher numbers of students tended to present higher levels of sociometric indexes (enhanced their centrality in networks). It is important to note that the results of network analysis related to ICTs in YAE were extremely biased, due to low number of analyzed studies and involved professors. The developed research contributes significantly to understanding of the subjects ICTs and YAE in Educations postgraduate. This study allowed a description and a mapping of this academic area in this decade in Belo Horizonte. It also presents important elements for reflection in area.
