Research on socioenvironmental themes is important because it produces reality clippings of social groups with peculiar characteristics. The present work analyzes the socioenvironmental impacts that occurred in the municipality of Alcântara - Maranhão, from 1988 to 2018, related to the displacement of communities to the agricultural villages implemented by the Alcântara Launch Center (CLA). The methodology used was phenomenological with qualitative and quantitative approach, evaluating socioenvironmental aspects of the municipality, as well as those caused by the displacement of the population from the coast to the agricultural villages. The research is justified by the relevance of this social fact, related to the implementation of CLA and the adoption of public policies by different administrative spheres over the last three decades and the various impacts resulting from this process, of social, cultural, environmental and economic nature. Its innovation seeks to analyze the living conditions of people who lived in agricultural villages over these three decades, to understand how the project interfered in the relationship of people with the environment in the quality of life of people who, for various reasons, were conditioned to live in other places. |
