Resumo: |
The present work seeks to verify the relationship between the expansion of electrical energy infrastructure and economic and human development in the Legal Amazon. To this end, the study aims to analyze the existence of a statistical relationship between the Amazon electrical energy infrastructure and economic and human development in this region. In this way, theoretical and documentary research was carried out on the topic. In theoretical research, a literature review was carried out. In the documentary research, data was collected regarding installed capacity, electrical energy generation, electrical consumption and the Human Development Indexes (HDI) of the states of the Legal Amazon, from 2016 to 2021. For data analysis The research used descriptive statistics and the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient statistical method. The main results of the research were that there is a very weak and negative relationship in the statistical relationship between data on installed capacity and energy generation with the index (IDHM) of the states in the Amazon region. In addition to a weak and negative correlation, in the statistical relationship between electrical consumption data and the same Municipal Human Development Index (IDHM) in the Amazon states, in the proposed period. This work was carried out with the support of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - Brazil (CAPES) - Financing Code 001. |
