Uma proposta didática para o cálculo no ensino médio

Resumo: In this text I present a Didactic Proposal for Calculus to be applied to high school students. This proposal is justified by the difficulty faced by students when having their first contact with Calculus only in Higher Education, since this topic has not been worked on by teachers as it is not officially part of the Basic Education curriculum currently in Brazil. The proposal begins by presenting a little of the history of the creation, creators and development of Calculus, followed by the study of the concept, properties and application of Limit, Derivative and Integral in solving problems and ending with the application of Calculus in obtaining the area under graphs of functions and Parameterization and Reparameterization of Curves by Arc Length. It should be noted that the objective of such a study is not to promote a Calculus course but to provide significant learning about the definition and application of the topic covered, therefore, I leave proposals for activities throughout the text and in the appendices, more these themes and the solutions for the activities to be developed by the students.
