Resumo: |
The aim of this work is to analyze representations of aspects related to the violence content in the police page of Jornal Pequeno , newspaper from Maranhão of daily circulation. Specifically, the research was directed to the analyzes of social agents speeches which are responsible for the making of news over the periodical, diffused between 1993 and 2003, which report and interpret occurrences that I have identified here as collective justice acts, usually named lynching . The chronological and spatial pruning were, respectively, the mentioned period of the news broadcast and the municipal district of São Luís Maranhão, toward the sense that the reports of collective justice makings refer exclusively to facts occurred in this city. Besides reports, were also used as research source photographs published in the above mentioned newspaper and interviews with reporters, editors and photographers of the periodical. |
