This work aims to reflect on the transformations that occurred in the last decades over the eight hundred, through the analysis of the ideas disseminated by the Porto Revolution abroad. The expectations generated are reflected in the practices, discourses and representations that are natural or not of the population of Maranhão, which express themselves as attitudes and relationships in relation to a political process that begins with a delineate. In this sense, it becomes emblematic the acceptance of the avenging constitutional project in Maranhão, based on the analysis of the newspaper O Conciliador and the documents produced that were gathered in the digitized bases of the historical archive of the overseas. Documents which allow the mapping of the main ideas that were in vogue in the period, as well as the analysis of the political game. Group responsiveness is a sine qua non for understanding the politics and power struggles in vogue in the province of Maranhão. |
