Resumo: As the teaching of Geometric Optics in Secondary School is a little out of date due to lectures that do not stimulate interest for students, the present work aims to analyze the teachinglearning process of students and stimulate interest and learning through computer game as an aid to the lectures. In order to analyze the potential of the computer game produced in Scratch, software used to produce animations and games, this dissertation is based on the theory of Play, Toy, Play and Education of Tizuko Morchida Kishimoto, in the theory of the infantile education of Jorge Fernando Hermida, and also in some citations of the National Curricular Parameters (NCPs). An initial survey, an expository class, a computer game produced in Scratch software, and a final survey were applied. As a result it was obtained that students had a better understanding about Geometric Optics, and how important it is to their scientific background. It is important to note that the use of this type of educational game is not only restricted to Geometric Optics, it can cover various subjects of Physics, as well as other disciplines such as Chemistry, Biology, etc.
