Resumo: This dissertation deals with Visual Art Teaching in the context of the Curriculum Frameworks proposed by the State Department of Education of Maranhão and Law 10.639/2003 in the Governador Archer Education Center. The general objective of the study was to build a didactic-pedagogical website about Visual Arts in the context of the Curriculum Frameworks of the State Department of Education of Maranhão and Law 10.639/2003. The main bibliographic sources that supported the research were: Bacarin (2005), Barbosa (1978), Osinski (1998), Pacheco (2007), Subtil (2011), among others. The research begins by describing a historical retrospective of the teaching of Art in Brazil from the sixteenth century with the influence of the Jesuits until the twentieth century, which points out the curricular transformations of Art teaching through the approval of Opinion n°. 22/2005 and Law n° 13,278 / 2016. In continuity, a section was made that discussed Law No. 10,639 / 2003 and the Curricular Framework of Art prepared by the State Department of Education of Maranhão (SEDUC/MA). This section was divided into four subsections dealing with: Law 10.639 / 03; The Opinion nº 03/2004; Resolution nº 01/2004 and the SEDUC/MA Curricular Art Curriculum. The following section described about empirical research. We describe the research scenario (site searched); the research methodology; analysis and interpretation of data; the product of the research that was described through the proposal of intervention in the researched place. The research was an instrumental case study based on Robert Stake. The instruments of data collection used were the observation that lasted four months; the interview, which was addressed to the manager, the pedagogy coordinator and two art teachers; questionnaire that was applied to the students in four classes of the 8th grade, of the afternoon shift. A 23% sample was taken. In addition to the didactic-pedagogical site, a manual of the main contents of the mentioned site was made, as a physical material for the teachers. The research concluded that the researched school needs continuous formations of visual arts in the context of the teaching of Afro-Brazilian and African history and culture, as prescribed by Law 10.639 / 03 and the Curriculum Framework of Art of the State Dep
