ABSTRACT Teaching-service integration reduces the gap between health services, academic education and health system needs. This allows the development of actions that can converge to a common point between the pedagogical objectives and the priorities of health services, enabling the effectiveness of teaching-care practices. The objective of the research was to analyze the Teaching Service Integration, in the scenarios of practice, Primary Health Care, medical school, Federal University of Maranhão - UFMA, Campus Imperatriz. The Methodology was based on a qualitative approach, using the evaluative matrix model proposed by Albiero & Freitas (2017). The research was conducted by consulting the secondary data of e-SUS-S, self-completed questionnaires applied to team members, users, academics and teachers and interview with a representative of the medical school coordination. Given the results it was observed that all Basic Health Units - Empress UBS that serve as a scenario of practice, have the typology of Teaching Assistance Units - UDA with teaching supervision and their own agenda, and it was also possible to identify the presence of weaknesses to be surpassed, so that the medical-academic education of students of the Imperatriz medical school is linked to health needs, with emphasis on the Unified Health System - SUS. |
