The modern tradition founded and legitimized a limited concept of subjectivity, through technique and instrumental rationality, and also concerned to scientific practice and truth objetification, which induced the forming of a poor image of human beings. A universal and natural version of subjectivity influenced the psychology project as an independent science and some of its theoric segments, whose consequence has granted psychologic knowledge and practice a reductionist pattern, associated to a correspondence with scientific modern rigor. Hans-Georg Gadamer, a German contemporary philosopher, criticized the common relation between truth and method, especially, through his reconsideration of the experience of art as a truth event. His criticism represented a contribution to reflect on the truth and its ontological aspect, which has motivated the understanding of a full and dialogic subjectivity concept. Thus, from an interface among psychology, art and some ideas of Gadamer‟s philosophical hermeneutics, this study aims to problematize the bond between art and subjectivity, by considering the experience of poetic word (poem and prose) or literature as a singular expression and formation of subjectivities. For that, and to exercise the hermeneutic aspect which considers that undertanding is an application, turns up the propose of a methodologic composition of a hermeneutic reading with the novel Água viva by Clarice Lispector, a Brazilian writer. The peculiarity of poetic word and, especially, Clarice's particular way of handling words in her narrative, provides the formation of a diologic perspective to represent the human image. |
