Resumo: This present study aimed to investigate the phenomenon of technification of the human body as well as its potential interlocution with the problematic of finitude, using Martin Heidegger’s phenomenological reference as guide and and as research methodology the theoretical research.. We present the repercussions that the modern conception of the body machine, especially in its promise of overcoming death through the technification of the body, imposes on human existence. In the light of Heidegger's thought, death is the extreme possibility of man who essentially grounds his existence. To the philosopher, the body (Leib) is the essence e of our temporal existence, is the place of language, boundary, and the between birth and death. However, when considering the man as being composed of a duality, material body (Körper) hosting a spirit, the traditional modern philosophy opposes life and death and excludes the originary existential character of the body taking it into a simply material fated to deterioration. When associated to the concept of machine, the correction or replacement of the body brings a way of escaping from its degeneration. In the place of human being’s happening the body becomes to be seen as a place of depreciation, death and aging. Therefore, it is perceived as something that needs to be prevented in order to avoid its finitude and, perhaps, overcome it. In general, Heidegger thought the modern world’s question of techinic like the uncontrollable transformation of the humanity’s historial fate. Into this transformation the forget of the Being by itself is subscribed and mantained with its essence wich rests into composition (Gestell) in Being’s way of unwrap. The composition’s domain threats the human into his possibility of an more originary unwrap wich returns it into Being in itself’s originary truth. However, even the techinic be the fulfillment of an destiny fixed on our metaphisical thought, it doesn’t closes human liberty. Liberty is precisely the ground, the possibility of originary truth, wich, into temporal existence game wherein human in his being finds itself (Ereignis), has the possibility of reveal the Being in its relation with human
