Resumo: |
The present work aims to present an approach for teaching Euclidean Geometry using geometric constructions as an auxiliary tool for the visualization of more theoretical and abstract concepts, also helping in the understanding of the basic concepts of Euclidean Geometry. Through a historical approach, it is possible to testify that in Brazil, the teaching of Geometry never had relevance deserved and these studies are almost always dissociated from geometric constructions. This paper shows the influences that the Teaching of Mathematics suffered over the years and how, mainly, the teaching of Geometry was affected by the Modern Mathematics Movement (MMM). By presenting the contents of Geometry together with geometric constructions only proves that these studies should be inseparable. Finally, this author presents a resolution of problems found in the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) with help of geometric constructions. |
