Resumo: |
There is a false idea between Micro and Small Companies (MSCs) that the adoption of environmentally correct measures brings "cost" to the company. Despite the existence of environmental management tools that can be applied by any type and size of company, MSCs have difficulty in using these tools, by the lack of examples related to their type of service. Thence the need to propose viable alternatives for this segment, so that the MSCs can insert environmental management practices in favor of sustainable development and their entry as suppliers in important productive chains. The proposal of this study was to develop methods of implementing environmental management tools applicable to Micro and Small Companies based on the NBR 14005:2012 regulation, preparing for their inclusion in the Productive Chain of Oil, Gas and Energy in the State of Maranhão. A qualitative research was carried out and it had as main methodology the Action-Research, which added to the literature review, documental research, participative observation and evaluative research, make the methodological basis of this work. Models have been developed for implementation of Environmental Management tools MSCs from the key axes based on ISO 14005:2012: Aspects Identification and Environmental Impacts; Environmental Impact Evaluation; Legal Requirements Identification and others; Development of Environmental Elaboration; Development of Goals and Targets and Environmental Monitoring. With the tools implementation, 19 companies increased their level of environmental management and had highlights on Oil, Gas & Energy Project by taking part in the Suppliers Catalog of the SEBRAE and PETROBRAS Agreement. In this work, we demystified the concept of complexity in caring out practices of environmental quality for MSCs, showing the real benefits to them, which in addition to improving their environmental performance, they prepared themselves for the inclusion in important productive chains across the country. |
