Resumo: | This theoretical study constitutes a reflection on the formative aesthetic possibilities of the cinema in the scope of teacher formation. For this purpose, it is divided into four parts, based on the framework of the Critical Theory of Society.The first part, intended for the presentation and refinement of academic productions found in Capes journal portal, shows, due tothe low number of productions found, little concern about the proposed theme.Because of this, it relates this lack to the concept of instrumental rationality. The second part exposes and critically reflects on the selected material, seeking to evidence traces of this phenomenon in the content of the productions found. In the third part, a bibliographical review is performed, in which it aimst o clarify the phenomenon of instrumental rationality, its social effects, as well as to defend the aesthetic formation in opposition to it, also emphasizing some presuppositions in order to preventthis formation from falling, contradictorily, in the meshes of the instrumentalization. Finally, in the fourth part, some formative potentialities of cinema are presented, elucidating some possibilities of an aesthetic formation that is built from it. In conclusion, this work seeksto highlight some peculiarities i n the way the aesthetic formation of teachers through cinematographic art has been thought academically, drawing attention to the fact that they constitutea reflection of a historical social process in which a formation directed towards and by the senses is relegated to the background.Furthermore, this study also intends to set out some guidelines of an aesthetic formation based on the cinema,which can be really constructed in the opposite direction to the instrumentalization of the thought. |
