Resumo: Understanding teachers' pedagogical processes and practices is fundamentally relevant for studies that cover the educational area, even more so when there is a structural change in the conception of teaching as a result of remote conformation. In times of the coronavirus pandemic, important topics such as creativity, virtuality and teaching gained new perspectives. In view of the aforementioned aspects, this research had the general objective of identifying the conceptions and practices of teachers who work with children, especially in the context of the Initial Years of Elementary School. Based on the analysis of the scientific production on the subject, from the Graduate Programs in Education, from 2010 to 2019, we seek to identify and define the concept of creativity through the authors used in the selected studies. Subsequently, we sought to carry out semi-structured interviews with teachers in remote teaching situations in order to produce the empirical material of the research on screen, in an attempt to understand and theoretically confront their conceptions and practices related to creativity in the context of everyday education. We conclude when interpreting the narratives that, although the teachers do not understand very clearly the concepts concerning creativity and its role in education with children, these professionals made an effort to create strategies, devices and teaching possibilities, having the creation process as our focus.
