Resumo: |
The main categories of this research are the women, aging, the body practices and subjectivity production. In recent years, has been observed that more and more women, has adopted procedures to delay aging, prolonging their youthfulness. For that, turn to various methods. The example medicines, diets, exercise, plastic surgery and other many ways to achieve this goal. Women increasingly are relying and sticking to those choices that promise to retain youth longer. Much change in the body is directly related to the subjectivity that becomes molded by showing hegemony. Every time reports in magazines, in television media and advertisements for products that promise to achieve the ideal body, bring pictures of beautiful models, actresses and presenting a way to present the ideal body to be followed. The bellies are slender, the skin is perfect, no wrinkles or spots, the shapely legs, nose and redesigned busts scalpel. This model became the great object of women in general, and it is no different with those regarding aging, after all, want to be accepted, admired and praised, as with those who are on magazine covers bringing the representation of an ideal body. The beauty appears as synonymous with happiness. What many fail to observe is beyond what there are seeing those magazine covers and advertisements in general. These pictures are numerous editing features that provide touches and changes wherever they are used. Soon achieve that body pattern becomes an almost impossible goal to be achieved. The purpose of this research is to analyze how subjectivities, this woman subject, are produced by the body aesthetics, specifically through plastic surgery. What would be the influence of the force "media" for the decision to resort to various treatments in the search for the perfect body? How happen as the care itself? And yet, as the production of subjectivities of women regarding aging, legitimized through discourse? Therefore, research is guided by the ethnographic method with participant observation, in a plastic surgery hospital in Goiânia, and other various forms of research allowed by ethnography. Theorists such as Michel Foucault, Michael Angrosino, Lucia Santaella, Paula Sibilia and Simone de Beauvoir were used. Subjectivity of concepts, knowledge, power and female aging were approached by literature. We aimed to find a collaboration regarding care practices themselves and the production of female subjectivity. It was found that in the imagination of this woman regarding aging, a healthy body is connected to a body transformed by cosmetic surgery. Women who overcome fear of surgery to be "beautiful" and the shaped body, after all, the aging body is not even accepted. |
