Resumo: |
This research arises in a context that deals daily with various residues in the city of Goiânia in the state of Goiás. Registering the effects of the generation, deposition and destination of these residues, the desire to seek solutions to minimize environmental impacts emerges. The problem of this work is linked to the waste of tempered glass from automobiles that are dumped in landfills, natural environments, inappropriate places and are not recycled. The proposal is to produce a constructive material, which has a connection with perceptions and reflections, thinking about the product and the result, but above all about people, approaching the aspect of human sensations with coatings. This study aims at recycling tempered glass waste from automobiles, providing a different destination, preventing them from being discarded in the open, impacting ecosystems. This type of glass is replaced by coarse aggregate. The general objective is to develop a cladding panel with reuse of automotive tempered glass residue for building facades. The specific objectives are: to study the best conditions for the reuse ratio of tempered glass in concrete applied to a protection prototype with an aesthetic aspect for facades, to understand the approach to waste recycling in architecture and to design an architectural facade panel from concrete traces using the residue of this type of glass. The methodology used involved literature review, field research, collection, selection and characterization of these residues, trace analysis, laboratory tests to assess the mechanical properties of the material and the production of the panel. The present research showed that it is feasible to produce facade panels by adding composite with these elements without harming the mechanical properties of the material, expressing the importance of allocating a residue to something significant. |
