Resumo: |
The present work investigated the reception of Kondratiev's work and thought from 1920 to 1980. We seek to understand how class interests crossed a scientific statement (Long Cycles) in a determined political and social field (Soviet Russia), in the struggle for achievement of scientific authority and legitimacy. In this sense, we studied Kondratiev's theory to understand the reasons that were rejected in his country, but he was quite influential throughout the 20th century in other countries and in other political and social contexts. Class interests explain the reasons for the concealment of Kondratiev's work in Russia and the reason it influenced great thinkers outside Russia. To answer this question we are going to demonstrate the class interests of the middle peasants present in Kondratiev's work and how these interests determined their public suppression. On the other hand, we will present the reasons for the spread of Kondratiev's work outside Russia and demonstrate how it represented a possibility of explaining the capitalist crisis and influenced authors from several countries, including Brazil. |
