Resumo: The struggle for land process shows the camps and settlements as territories of conflicts and contradictions in the struggle for agrarian reform, being so the peasant goiano reproduces as socioculturally seated, revealing the constant transformation states of a time and a space moved by different objectivations. In this perspective this research had as main objective analyze the process of peasant territorialization in Farm Settlement Itapira and so understand the challenges and contradictions that were present in its constitution.Becomes important to understand the production and reproduction of families settled in the state of Goiás, because since the 1980 land reform resumed a prominent position in national politics, it being seen as one of social justice development promotion of vectors in field. In this period, there was an intense process of organizing social movements of landless workers in the municipality of Goiás, because of the large number of unproductive estates concentrated in this municipality and surrounding region it. The following decades, these movements influenced the workers from neighboring municipalities as in Itapirapuã, and so these landless workers began to organize with the help of mediators such as the MST (Landless Workers' Movement), CPT (Land Pastoral Commission) of the Diocese of Goiás and other non-institutional agents. When analyzing the performance of landless workers in the struggle undertaken by the land of conquest in the settlement, it is intended to understand the construction of a peasant territory, from the camp phase until the stage of execution of the settlement. Construction on this peasant territory with respect to the appropriation and domain of a socially shared space connected the way people use it, the organized and attribute meanings to the place. This case has peculiarities, as the action of the landowner, who also acted as "mediator", putting property available for expropriation with interest for traders to capitalize and to remain as large landowner in another region. This fact became common in the 1990s, in which the owner of large estates has a godfather relationship with the workers have come to understand the expropriation as a lucrative business. So being the research analysis showed the importance of the establishment of such peasant territorial unit, which turned an unproductive area of large estates in a living territory, revealing the economic, social and political importance of this settlement, as well as significant improvement in families' quality of life settled.
