Resumo: This research is based from the observation of how children's media characters consumed by children, it is characterized as captive space of contemporary societies and issues directly affecting the everyday life through material and symbolic structures present in the sphere of consumption . The structure of this work holds up in studies of Piaget, Kelnner, Lipovetsky, Postman, Canclini, Sodré, Levin and Baudrillard, outlining the history of the development of what we call consumer culture, in order to influence that child characters, and how this consumption is linked to the key issues relating to the organizational forms of child public, with implications for their training, in their values, identities and meanings. That said, we set out to investigate how these heroes, through the strategies of advertising communication, largely responsible for the rise of consumer culture, he busied himself over the years, to attribute meanings and values to the assets and experience of consumption through the use of discourse strategies and symbolic elements. In this sense, the main objective of this work is to analyze how is crafted work of these children's characters in media advertising context, aiming to catch a symbolic cross-media information able to establish the existence of links between consumption, violence and characters propagated by the media in the television universe aimed at children.
