Resumo: |
This research analyzes the production of Ana Maria Machado for the youth and adult audiences, in order to understand the specificities of contemporary Brazilian youth literature. In order for this to happen, we seek to understand the written elaboration process of this author from an intrinsic analysis of the works Canteiros de Saturno (1991), Para Sempre: amor e tempo (2001), Uma vontade louca (1990) and Amigo é comigo (1999), published both in the 1990s and in the 2000s, and focusing on the observation of the treatment of love relationships. Thus, it is necessary to observe the structuring of the language, the characters, the formal experimentalism, in addition to questioning about the youth literature itself, whether there are tendencies in it to simplify and/or fluidity in terms of form and whether this press for communication with the reader; all this combined with Machado's own opinion, recovered in an interview, about what it is to write for young people. Therefore, theoreticalcritical support is sought in Edmir Perrotti (1986), Peter Hunt (2010), Philippe Ariés (2011) and in the titles Silenciosa algazarra (2011) and Esta força estranha: trajetória de uma autora (1996) of the authoress herself Machado, among others. |
