Despite of all deficiencies, the National System for Conservation Unit NSCU Law has more positive aspects than negative ones. Some positive aspects presented in this dissertation can contribute for the acquisition of more funds for the Conservation Units, by the use of the funds that come from the visitors entrance fare, the comercial utilization of the image of the Park, the compensation for the environmental impact, and others. But there is no use to create new criteria to obtain funds if they keep being sent to the Federal Government, although the Law determines that the funds have to remain in the Parks. The National Park of the Serra dos Órgãos is a perfect example, because it shows us that the natural areas turned into Conservation Unities can be protected. But the polical will is very important to reach the respect for the law. The Law is very modern, and it represents a progress in terms of Brazilian Preservation law, mainly because of its democratic aspects of popular participation. After we get in touch with the NSCU LAW, and learn about it, all we have to do is to work hard to make it happen, and it only depends on those like you and me that love life in all its shapes.
