Although the concept of risk is closely associated with hazards and negative impacts, the necessity of the companies in searching for the transformation of the risks into potential gains, through a loss control, has increased. Lately has been arousing the conscience in obtaining , as a good practice of business management, an essential element in the Corporative Govern self-confidence: a suitable planning to run the risks that have threatened the corporation. Among a group of certified rules and other ones that contribute to the management of aspects relating to quality, security, environment and health, it is extremely important the specific treatment of the risks of the process, by a management system, not aiming only the other corporative management systems, but keeping the interaction among them. On this aspect, the proposal however presented, is based on practical international and recommendations effective techniques , being that the biggest approaches had been given:API RP 750 (Recommended Practice 750 of the American Petroleum Institute): Management of Process Hazards, the AS/NZS 4360 (Standards Australia and Standards New Zealand, BS 8800 (Standard British 8800), the ISO 14001 and 18001 OHSAS e, through its structural elements, objective to contribute, in the direction to organize and to manage the respective necessary actions to the prevention of undesired events and the reduction of its consequences, in the context of a structuralized process. As result of the study is presented a proposal of qualitative methodology for subsidy to the Management of Operational Risks of Security, Environment and Health (SEH).
