Resumo: | This paper intends to understand the role of leadership in the motivation of the employees throughout a case study carried out in Chemtech Serviços de Engenharia and Software Ltd, selected as the Best Company to work in by the criteria of Great Place to Work Institute and as the Best Company in People Management by ABRH/RJ in 2007. In Brazil, these researches have been carried on for 20 years, through magazines and specialized organizations on the theme. As a brand of a product remains in the customer´ s mind, a company that is considered as the best place to work in also creates an image that remains in the candidates´ mind, in which the excellence in management, learning and life quality in the work place is continual. Theories on leadership, motivation and organizational culture point out to the evolution of organizations as far as improvement in working conditions and consequent happiness of their employees are concerned. In this paper the main search was to identify the leadership influence in the company the purpose of the case study - as the result of the reward of the best company to work in among other issues. |
