Resumo: | This work is about the lhe oblique pronoun, from the traditional syntactic analysis to the discursive approach based on functionalist linguistic theoretical support. The concepts of prototype and marking are used in concomitance with the perspective of clausal transitivity by Hopper and Thompson (1980). The analysis data were used from corpora CetempubicoNilc Sao Carlos and from D&G group (Rio de janeiro, Juiz de Fora, Rio Grande and Niterói). As a result, the possibility to observe the text (narrative) is confirmed, considering the discursive relief (foreground and background) where the lhe pronoun occurs, functioning as a characterization index of the observed report. Therefore, the environment more or less transitive coincides with the syntactic function where the lhe pronoun plays in a determined textual situation: lhe pronoun functioning as indirect object predominates from the association of this syntactic function to excerpts which goes from average to very high clause transitivity, what means that such pronoun tends to occurs in this clausal context, in the function referred, in figure sequences. On the other hand, the lhe pronoun as adnominal adjunct occurs from average to low transitivity, in a level of discursive relevance toward more to the profundity than to the foreground; at last, the lhe pronoun as nominal complement has the predominance of low transitivity (background) environment. |
