Resumo: The recruiting of companies for execution of industrial enterprises of great load in Brazil, along all these years, has repeatedly, in most of the cases, been developed based on the law of bids, which defines the smallest price presented as the winner, since the technical proposals are in agreement with the established in the tender documentation. This condition leads firms to reduce their levels of tolerance to risk in the search of greater competitiveness. The practical result of this behavior are budgets with sales prices below the actual values of the enterprises, as does the definition of execution time, which are reduced to satisfy customer expectations. Due to this, during the execution, periods and costs exceed those in the contract, resulting in conflicting claims negotiations and fines, wearing the relationship and image with customers. As alternative appears the Alliance Agreement, which provides synergy and transparency between client and partners, making the work of both members lined up in order to maximize results and reduce losses. In this study regarding the Alliance Agreement in large industrial enterprises, will be presented definitions, characteristics, training, classification, evolution, as well as a model of what has been practiced more recently by large companies in Brazil.
