Resumo: This study has for central objective, to understand the development of agricultural education in Brazil, and its entailings/relations with the capitalist system developed here. In this perspective, the work, as presented, was divided in three chapters, presenting of the following form: In chapter 1, I make a boarding of the historical process of agricultural education in Brazil, taking as base for this analysis the concept of dependent capitalism of Florestan Fernandes. Such attempt, uses as instruments: the characterization in the ways of agricultural production in Brazil, its demands and subordinations, since the occupation of our ground for portuguese forces. In chapter 2, I intend demonstrate that, from the recent reorganizations of the capitalism, it has an approach enters the logic of agricultural and urban production, or either, it is more difficult to identify with clarity which are the sectors primary, secondary and tertiary, given the unit of the productive processes, in consequence of the financial capital. With base in this agreement, I intend to show the last occured change in the structure of agricultural education in Brazil, that was the extinguishing of the Coordenação do Ensino Agropecuário (COAGRI) of the scope of the MEC (Brazilian Ministry of the Education), passing this category of education to be dealt with all the others professional formation. Finally, in chapter 3, I present, as consequence of this reorganization, the reforms lived for the education, mainly of professional formation, from the decade of 1990, until the express contradictions in Decree 5.154/04.
