Resumo: The present research seeks to understand the development and the contribution that studies of the spiritual dimension of work can make to help face the challenges found in managing people and businesses. The study is based on a systematic review of the academic literature and on content analysis, guided by a framework that provides an integrated perspective. The results present the main topics, characteristics, tendencies and opportunities. This work can serve as a reference source for researchers and professionals interested in this field of knowledge, which is still rarely investigated academically, making it a resource and inspiration for future studies, applications or reflections.
