Resumo: | The High Reliability Organizations (HRO) are a very recent subject, even at worldwide level, as it has been studying since the decade of 1980 in the USA. The Safety Culture is one of the main pillars, if not the main one, in order that a Company be perceived as an organization of this nature. She is the basis of everything that needs to be built to make the essentials adaptations that could be implemented in this new way of management. To achieve a high level of safety, it s necessary to work its maturity. When a Company achieves the highest level of maturity, she has an open way towards a high reliability organization. The questionnaire, very probably, is the most used instrument worldwide in safety culture surveys. This dissertation has the purpose to compare some types of questionnaires used in safety culture surveys in the world to suggest a model that could be applied in future surveys, in order to help to raise the maturity, besides transforming this subject in a proactive indicator in the Company, and this way, preparing the organization to become a high reliability organization. |
