Validação do bloco de consumo alimentar do questionário online “Mapa de Atividade Física e Saúde – MAFIS” em uma comunidade universitária

Resumo: The evaluation of food consumption lacks inexpensive, easy to administer and valid instruments that are capable of assisting in interventions and encouraging healthy eating. The aim of the presented work was checking validate food consumption block construct of the MAFIS online questionnaire in a university community. . A sample comprised of 72 adults with a mean age of 24.9 ± 5.2 years, completed 3 dietary recalls of 24 hours (R24), MAFIS questionnaire, and a re-test of 30 days later. Analyses were carried out, intraclass and Spearman correlation, Kappa test and Bland and Altman‟s plots. Results: Regarding the validity, the Kappa agreement for classification of healthy eating and risk markers ranged from 0.30 (daily consumption of vegetables) to 0.79 (weekly consumption of soft drinks and sugary beverages), indicators (10/13) presented Correlations above 0.40. Spearman‟s correlation coefficient ranging from 0.18 (daily consumption of sweets and treats) to 0.90 (weekly consumption of fast food snacks), of the 13 items, 9 presented correlation ≥ 0.40, correlations were statistically significant for all items, except for the daily intake indicator of sweets and goodies. The MAFIS questionnaire overestimated the consumption for most feeding markers. Conclusion: Results showed that the online MAFIS questionnaire presents reliability to evaluate the food groups and is acceptable with the R24 of 3 days to evaluate the intake food groups. Mafis is an appropriate online tool for assessing food intake in adults in a university community
