Resumo: | This thesis focuses on the description of morphosyntactic aspects in relation to the acquisition of construction verb + non-finite verb, especially the verb to want + non- finite verb, whereas the first verb of this kind of construction it is a auxiliary and is acquired by the child as a single unit. We carried out an analysis of actual situations of language use, considering the structural and pragmatic, combining a longitudinal study and a study stratified, from speech samples of children aged between one year and seven months to six years (1y7m/o - 6y/o) of age in order to show more reliably the phenomenon in question. In the longitudinal study, the data includes ages between 1y7m/o and 3y11m/o, of the speech of a child and, and in the study stratified the sample is composed of speeches of fourteen children distributed on the following age groups: 1y8m/o, 1a10m, 2y3m/o, 2y4m/o, 2y5m/o , 3y/o, 4y/o, 5y/o and 6y/o. Our target is to investigate the occurrence of non-finite verb + non-finite verb, especially with the verb to want + verb non-finite, seemingly complex construction, in order to validate the use of the first as an auxiliary verb and show that this type of construction is acquired by the child in block, as a unit made by the process of grammaticalization, which would put such a construction in colloquial Brazilian Portuguese. As a theoretical orientation, we adopt the Linguistic Functionalism, which is based on the description of the functioning of languages, and some contributions based on Models Based on Use, which assist us in explaining and analyzing the phenomenon of language acquisition. The analysis allows us to confirm that you want to build the verb to want + non-finite verb at the stage where it works as an auxiliary, since in this construction, the integration between both prevents the characterization of one of the verbs independently of the other, making them a single processing unit, which is acquired by the child as a single block |
