Resumo: This study considers to evaluate the proportionate impact for the called tool Ranking of the Leadership , integrated to the Management Safety System, in a company of services of telecommunication and electricity, when confronted with the reactive pointers of the Frequency Rates and Gravity Rates for serious and fatal accidents in the years of 2001 until 2006. It evaluates the changes of the behavior of the professionals of the company in the strategic, intermediate and operational levels, about safety issues. The interested parties in knowing the process of change of behavior through the adoption of pointers pro active, that has as base four definite pillars as: Knowledge, evaluation of the protection equipment, accomplishment of the safety procedures and vehicles, in a company who acts in the market with great changes and that passed for the privatization process during this research, find a contribution. The research used of method case study, supported in index inspections of field and evaluations guides for specific questionary, in average more than 3000 professionals of operational level. The gotten results indicate that the strategic level has strong participation in the sustentation of these tools, offer bigger support to its use and it does not offer to barriers its adoption. The intermediate level is the bigger responsible for the support of the tool and for the changes in the behavior of safety, it offer great support to the use and it does not offer to barrier its adoption, already the operational level in general doesn t offer barrier to use the management tool.
