Resumo: | The brazilian pharmaceutical market is one of the biggest in the world and a long time is dominated by large transnational groups. However, in recent years there have been major changes that made this market more competitive as the introduction of generic drugs and the resurgence of pharmacy compounding. In this scenario of force competition, the competitors must establish a clear strategy and set to maintain and/or increase its share in this market. Given the disparity of forces between the competitors, highlights the need for academic studies on strategies for sustainability of pharmacy compounding in Brazil. With the increase in the number of these pharmacies, these drugs came to be a significant share of the total consumed in the country. Parallel to this expansion, there was an increase in pressure to improve its quality. While in many productive activities ensuring quality and process controls are consolidated, in this activity the advances occur more because of changes in the health legislation than by the market forces. In order to assure its sustainability the brazilian pharmacy compounding needs to elaborate a pool of tools that may guarantee the quality of its products. Between these tools, the process statistic control, the continuous improvement, the performance indicator and the process management appears like options to the improvement of process. This study searches provide subsidies in order to pharmacists may control their process contributing to the development of quality of these drugs. |
