Resumo: | The general theme of this research is the discussion on labor and knowledge in postmodernity. The specific object of study is the Delors Report Report made for UNESCO by the International Commission on Education for the XXI Century, - published in 1996. The purpose is to comprehend the new educational proposed in the report, Education throughout life, through a critical analysis based on the political economy s method, and to try to apprehend and to identify in which way capitalism, in your current stage of development, expressed itself on labor, knowledge, education based on the main lines of the postmodern theories. In this research, we defended the hypothesis that postmodernity is, in fact, a political project able to legitimize capitalism in its current phase of accumulation. Despite the fragmented discourse and the negation of what is called as former period modernity and the idea of totality and any meta narrative, the postmodernity, in fact, strengthens the capital s metabolic system. |
