Resumo: Due to the necessity of improving the performance of the members in teamwork, there has been an increase on the number of studies which give special attention to the variables that can promote the organizational success. However, we have to consider a matter, a development, a definition and a proposal of an analytical conceptual model in order to verify if there is really a relation among teamwork development and organizational success. The initial proposal of the present study was to talk about aspects linked to team development, relating them to relevant issues of organizational success. The foundation of the research considered that the development of team excellence can be relevant to the organizational success, if it is put into practice in the management policies, taking the peculiarities of the organizational culture into account. The research can be said to be transversal and exploratory. Its aim was to verify, in the perspective of human resources managers, as the development of excellency teams is considered in the management policies having aimed at the organizational success in medium and great companies from Juiz De Fora. The results contribute for an analysis of the internal policies of management adequacy, aiming at the reach of the organizational success, being excellent for policies of managers development in the associate companies of Federação das Indústrias do Estado de Minas Gerais. As contribution for future research, a reviewed version of the adopted analytical conceptual model is presented, on the basis of the research results, where thematic categories for the variables grouped for dimension of the developed model are presented. In the end, they are proposals questions to investigate in future research being aimed at the analytical model increase and the validation of the initial proposal of the research, which can t fully be confirmed by the reached results.
