Several they have been the attempts of the companies in reducing the accidents and they improve the production, the employees' satisfaction and the image of the company. The international norms, as the ISO-14001, BS-8800 and OHSAS-18001 aid the companies in the search of the implementation of a System of Administration of Industrial Safety, looking for or no the certification. Companies that act in the branch of the petroleum know that her activity is of the high risk, therefore, the projects of their marine platforms need to analyze the dangers of their processes and, they incorporate actions of mitigation of the risks. That work looked for to evidence the practice of Administration of Risks of an Petrobras Unit Business of Exploration and Production of Petroleum and to identify the tools and the methodologies of analysis of risks applied to their projects and changes in the facilities of surface of the marine units of production. The result can contribute in the development of a flow of work of the routine of the analysis and administration of the risks of a platform of petroleum.
