Resumo: | This study investigated the degree importance of the product eco-design characteristics and the eco-efficient production for the taking of purchase decision of luxury automobiles in Brazil. Subsidized for the theoretical referential on eco-efficiency in the production of automobiles and consumer perception, was applied a questionnaire with 14 questions in individual interviews to a universe of 35 of luxury automobiles owners. The results indicate that the ecological factor in the product is not considered by the interviewed ones, not constituting, therefore, element of aggregation of value to the products in the direction to satisfy necessities of customers, over all for the fact of the consumers not to have enough information. Although this, allows to conclude that the investigated consumers possess a concern with the environment question, but don't know how the automobiles are being modified for the industry with the objective to improve its performance and to take care of to the environment regulations. |
