Resumo: | This dissertation discusses the changes in tourism and the emergence of Based- Community Tourism (TBC) as an alternative to the current tourism development model. (TBC) presents some concepts and relevance of participation, the role of local community in the decision process. The main objective of this thesis was to analyze the experiences of projects Based- Community Tourism to identify the characteristics and importance of the participation of local actors in Based- Community Tourism (TBC) projects that contribute to their sustainability. From the analysis of the existing literature on the subject and a qualitative approach, forms targeted to managers of projects in which thirteen questions on participation through the four dimensions proposed by Avritzer were addressed were developed. From the data analysis work rises some questions to think about social participation in the projects of TBC |
