Resumo: This paper ask the new relations established in the educational process with the impact of the new technologies of information and communication and the virtual relation established after the web s origins. Specifically, it look for understanding how the interaction works between the actors in educational way teacher and student in a specific online course developed to learning acquisition of Spanish as a second language (SSL). This paper adopt a social interactionist approach, as much language studies as the new relations established in classroom of foreign languages. It is about a study of case based in ethnographic principles to describe the actions realized by the actors. To pick the information up, beyond all material produced in AVE (Aula Virtual de Español, by Cervantes Institute), it was used learning diaries to understand the actions, representations, feelings, in short, the signs left by the actors involved in the process of interaction in a virtual ambient. The analysis focuses not only the changes in interaction s process but also the different virtual genres and the instructional situations used by the actors during the course. The role of teacher in a virtual ambient, compared with a traditional classroom, change considerably. The word teacher and tutor, showed as a imperfect synonyms, probably announce the new relatio n. The main function carried out by the tutor just represent one in all of teacher s responsibilities: the social intervention. The others functions to inform, to evaluate and some kind of interventions (corrective, appreciative and elucidative) not disappear completely in interlocutory relation in a virtual ambient, but they are less often if they are compared with a formal classroom
