Resumo: | The main aim of this work is to analyse the relations between memory and image in the novels of José de Alencar, considering they as an important key to weave certains configurations about brazilian identity, made around what we assume as a poetic of restauration at Alencar´s work, as a theorist and a writter, figured on the picturial metaphora of chiaroscuro in the text architeture and as a metaphora of the bounderies between history and story. Our propose is to verify how these relations reveal the ficctional work as a potencial memorialistic holder, able to create images into national imaginary´s, replacing images built up by historic memory what allows the creation of a new point of view towards the past in Alencar´s texts. On this way, what we called signs image´s productors the landscaped, the sea, the harbour, will be analysed, as well the role of the artist, figured by these images. |
