The present study it was through in the know area as "Morro do Forno", situed in Arraial do Cabo, the coast of the State of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. The place is protected by diverse legal instruments and mainly shelters in the interior diverse rare and endemic species of the fauna and of the flora. It possesses atypical vegetal informacion such as Steppe Savannah or Arborea Steppe that are inserted however in the Center of Vegetal Diversity of Cabo Frio and consequently in the Atlantic Forrest Bioma. For years the places comes suffering with the itense disordered occupation, mainly at commercial activities of kiosks to the side-sea and also the agricultural businesses of subsistence practiced by populations that migrated for the city during the decads of 1960,1970 and 198 due to it offers of job in the civil constrution and the industry. The objectives of present study had been to supply given the plans of the handlling of these units of conservation, to diagnosis the environment in question, as well as the involved social actors in the process and to registr the potentialities and ambient fragilities of the place. The used methodology consisted since the characteriztion of the area of study, comments, interviews, collects and identification of species of the flora untl the elaboration of thematic maps. It had been classified 76 species and divides in 33 families, beins o species of the leguminosae family. It is perceived many on ambient impacts to the deforestations as the strong hydric erosion. It has large deposition, inineration and burial of the garbage in the neighborhoods of the commercial tents (kiosks) of the Praia do Forno, also if it can foresee diverse impacts to coastal ecosystems and is biota. It is esteem that until the year of 2008, the area already haslost 43% of its vegetal covering. To the social actors and itis respective positionig about the problematic one the situation had been identified. It is conclued that area has a great potentiality for the practical one of ecological tuorism, that the classification of all fortifies the area in Municipal Natural Park of the Forno. It is considered that agrarian regularizations of the place and criation of other sustainable economic alternatives for the exising population with to the local preservation are prioritized
