This work focuses on the descendents of italians or not, involved at the assembly and organization of the 'Festa da Polenta' (Polenta's festival), in the city of Venda Nova do Imigrante, state of Espírito Santo, Brazil.It analyses a part of the city's population and a group of participants at the event's organization, aging between 18 and 35 years old, in order to establish a definite profile of the considered historical actors. In this perspective, the data collection task was performed following the model of participant observation in conjunction with the oral history methodology . 10 interviews were conducted with the term of consent at the periods of preparation and during the festival – ten days in October 2013. It analyses of the 'Festa da Polenta' (Polenta's festival) as a memory place. This work was done as a contribution to the research performed by post-graduation Program in History Social of Political Relations, associated with the State and Public Policies line of research, supported by the Laboratory of Studies in Migratory Movements, aiming to discuss how the italianity is built and continued in Venda Nova do Imigrante
