Resumo: Rationale: The SARS-CoV-2 virus was discovered in China at the end of 2019 and rapidly spread to other countries around the world due to its high transmission rate, leading to the World Health Organization declaring it a pandemic in March 2020. With the evolution of the crisis and the challenges in containing the pandemic, pregnant women became a focal concern for healthcare professionals due to their vulnerability and physiological specifics, underscoring the need for enhanced care from prenatal stages through to postpartum, as they became a risk group throughout the Coronavirus infection. Deaths in Brazil also notably affected pregnant women, with increasing severe cases among this group and even leading to the need for intensive care. As a result, special attention is paramount for pregnant women, emphasizing the necessity for comprehensive, quality care that respects their rights and choices, ensuring both the mother and baby have a positive outcome, especially amidst this health emergency. Objective: The primary aim of this study was to analyse the narratives of women regarding healthcare assistance and its implications throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum during the Covid-19 pandemic in Vitória, Espírito Santo. Method: The research focused on women who were pregnant and gave birth during the Covid-19 pandemic in Vitória, ES, from 2020 to 2022. The sampling method employed the Snowball technique and theoretical saturation. Data collection was done through semi-structured interviews, and the analysis will be based on Bardin's Thematic Content Analysis. Results: The outcomes of the research were presented in thematic letters, inspired by Conceição Evaristo, in order to challenge the biomedical dominance evoked by health services in the pandemic setting. Conclusion: Through this study, reflections emerged concerning the rights and their implications involving women's healthcare during the pregnancy-postpartum cycle, aiming to guide new strategies for future health emergencies.
