The infant drawing proves meanings and feelings historically established and reveals common experiences to the child to think and idealize the world. Against this finding, this research has as its center investigate and think about the nuances in the fiveyear old child‟s drawing when presented to art pictures, analyzing and understanding how it verbal and graphically expresses itself against information mediated by the art teacher, when they manifest their individual experiences and/or in group, representing their experience and appropriating of the artistic language, constituting themselves as authors. To sustain the research, we adopted the principles of the quantitative research using as resource the present observation in the classroom, that comes over to our proposes by giving opportunity the data record in locus, potentiating the strategy of the data production. The subjects of this research are twenty one five-year old children that frequent the Group Five, of the Centro de Educação Infantil Criarte/Ufes. The research sought understand the infant drawing as intrinsic expression of the child, that, opportunited by actions the contributed to this act, will possibly contribute to the artistic and imagery formation of the child meaning its expression and creation. We‟ve brought to this study concepts of the infant drawing, as well as questions that cover the whole preparation and maturing processes of the drawing, grounded in Rosa Iavelberg, Analice Pilar, César Cola, Arno Stern e Viktor Lowenfeld research, among another, the allowed our analysis from the speech and the drawing of those children. The presented thoughts seek contribute us to understand the dialogue process, involvement and graphic representation of the children with the art pictures
